Nspire Color EVT到手

一个月前在X宝买的原型机。
3.0.0.1503系统。
Boot1:3.0.0
Boot2:3.0.0
没有开发机标识。
型号显示为TI-Nspire TM CX
不过，开机画面还是绿色进度条。
只能在插USB的情况下开机，我推测电池损坏。

感谢去年朔雪的帖子，我没把主板连接口拆坏。
初步断定这台原型机就是去年出现过的型号，甚至更早一些。

内存是micron的128MB SLC+32MB LPSDR MCP，和CM上的相同，也与之前的color原型机相同。
如果没有问题，这台机子没法安装别的系统。
不过critor有提到，他的color原型机上有一个tsop封装的nor flash，厂商是MXIC，不知道你这个有没有。

有，在主板屏幕一面。
机身也是光滑的。
完全是去年出现过的那台一样型号。

Hi!
Nice find - thank you for the pictures and the dump.

Your 3.0.0.1503 is a development OS which was built on 8th February 2011.

The 3.0.0 Boot1 and Boot2 flashed in your TI-Nspire Color are development images: they'll only accept to run development OSes and not production OSes released on TI website.

For now, we've only dumped two other TI-Nspire CX development OSes and they are quite similar:
- 3.0.0.1045 built on 6th december 2010
- 3.0.0.DEVBUILD built on 14th february 2011

Note that the oldest one, 3.0.0.1045 is interesting as it includes an official builtin theme editor which was removed on later versions:

To install production OSes on your TI-Nspire Color, you'll either have to:

- Reflash the Boot1: this is possible as the Boot1 here is not in the proprietary ET-NS2010A-0 ASIC but on a publicly documented external Flash-NOR chip by MXIC you'll find on the other side of the board behind the J04 connector. We could achieve this on TI-Nspire ClickPad prototypes. You'll need to adapt our code for the different chip.

- Port Nlaunch CX for the 3.0.0 Boot2: You'll need to fix all syscall addresses, and other fixes are required to make Nlaunch CX run with only 32MB SDRAM instead of 64MB.

Could you check your TI-Nspire Color Diagnostics version?

Diagnostics is started by holding the Esc+Menu+Minus keys while pressiong reset.

If it's version 3.00.102, you'll get a picture at the end of the "2. LCD" test, picture which has been removed on production diagnostics.
